My name is David Frew and I am the new CEO of Amgas Ltd.

We have purchased Amgas because we believe that its LedPoint infra-red products are reliable, innovative and a significant step forward in fail-safe gas detection.

Safety is always a major concern for the Oil and Gas Industry. LedPoint has the added benefit of being a direct pellistor replacement.

We intend to invest heavily in Amgas and expand its product range by introducing a triple band flame detector.

I have extensive experience both in the gas detection world (former CEO of Crowcon Detection Instruments) and in the development of new sensor technologies having been advisor to both UK and US government development programmes in opto-electronics.
